This powerful documentary follows choreographer Hadar Ahuvia as she examines the Israeli folk dances she grew up with—unpacking their origins and questioning what is inherited, what is appropriated, and what we choose to carry forward. Through her deeply personal exploration, the film weaves together moving artistic portraits of Jewish, Israeli, and Palestinian dancers in New York City, grappling with history, identity, and the role of dance as a medium for healing and resistance. Director Tatyana Tenenbaum, participant Hadar Ahuvia, editor Colin Nusbaum, and producer Brighid Greene are expected to attend.
