Believe it or not, it’s going to happen to ALL of us. That’s right. We’re ALL gonna die.
But lucky for us, our Jewish tradition is known for having superb end-of-life rituals: Ones that help us accept this reality, and also assist the mourners in the healing process of grieving.
So let’s learn about them together, before the eleventh hour, with many beautifully illustrated presentations by Rabbi Me’irah, (pretty pictures help…) and some guest lecturers.
There will be 7 sessions, mostly on two Sundays per month, 2:00-4:00 PM
Nov. 10 & 24, December 8, and January 12 & 26, and February 9 & 23.
You can attend one session, multiple sessions, or the entire series.
If you are interested in being part of an Or Shalom chevra kadisha (Jewish burial society), try to attend all sessions.
