On January 4, we will gather for a special News Minyan. There has been much coverage of Project 2025, the Heritage Foundation’s sweeping conservative agenda for the second Trump administration. Less well known is the foundation's Project Esther, a manual for policies that it claims will combat antisemitism. At this News Minyan we will inquire into both these documents.

The News Minyan is not a forum for political debate, but an attempt to use our tradition's practice of wrestling with text to examine the full experience of what it is to be alive now. The practice includes silence, niggunim (wordless melodies), prayer, reading, conversation and deep listening.
