We are thrilled to extend a special invitation to all art enthusiasts within our community for a private docent-led tour of the Mary Cassatt exhibition at the Legion of Honor Museum. Join us as we explore the works of the prominent American painter and printmaker, best known for her significant contributions to the French Impressionist movement. Space is limited to 30 people, so you are strongly encouraged to reserve your spot and purchase your admission tickets directly from the museum, as soon as possible.

The cost of the tour is fully covered thanks to Or Shalom members/hosts Lorne Abramson and Elana Lieberman. However, attendees are responsible for purchasing their admission tickets to the exhibition, as well as any food and/or beverages in the museum café, where we will meet for a casual nosh after the tour. 

About the Exhibition

The exhibition "Mary Cassatt at Work" is a comprehensive retrospective celebrating the groundbreaking American Impressionist artist Mary Cassatt. The exhibition features over 93 works, including paintings, pastels, and prints that chronologically and thematically explore Cassatt's artistic evolution and her unique perspective on women's roles in society.  This is the first North American retrospective of her work in 25 years, highlighting her influence on both the Impressionist movement and modern art while offering insights into the social realities of her time.
