This is part of the “Reconstructing” Series with R’ Faryn. Reconstructionism is not a set theology or body of thought, but rather, an ongoing Jewish process of Reconstructing. So for this class, we will begin with a survey of all the different ways the concept of Prayer has been understood throughout Jewish time in order to first deconstruct Jewish prayer and reconstruct it anew.
Each class in Reconstructing "Prayer" builds on the previous class, so please try to come to all classes in this section if you register for this course.
Masks strongly encouraged.
*This event is currently planned to be held in our new building, which requires climbing 21 steps to access. If you are interested in attending this service, and this poses a barrier to entry for you, please reach out to Rabbi Faryn at rabbifaryn@orshalomsf.org
Sorry, Registration has ended.
