GEN-Xish Chavurah--Moonlit walk on the Tennessee Valley Trail hosted by Sue Schechter

Please join us for a stroll, while watching the sun set and the moon rise in Tennessee Valley.  We will meet at the Tennessee Valley parking lot at 6:00 pm, walk out to the beach (1.7 miles), along the Tennessee Valley Trail, hang for a bit, watch the sunset, and then walk back under the moonrise (flashlights are optional but you are welcome to bring one). It is an easy and lovely walk. Bring a layer and some snacks.

The GenX-ish Chavurah: Were you at the tail end of the glory days of the SNL original cast? Did you care who shot JR? Did you spend time debating with your friends whether Madonna and/or The Go-Go’s were Girl-power icons - or even try to look like them? Were you mullet or frizzy big hair? NEON clothes? Perhaps you owned a device called a Walkman? Oh, wait, did you watch every Brat Pack movie AND memorize the moves to Thriller and the MoonWalk from Billie Jean? Maybe these are some of your memories as a teen or young adult. Join us monthly for a couple of hours of reminiscing, schmoozing, and light eats — and we’ll see where it goes!
